Sherry (McKay) Lantz, friend of Sam and Debbie Lecocq, shown aboard the "Pacific Diver" in 1965 after a lobster dive in the waters off Santa Catalina Island. Sam and Sherry's reunion after 40 years happened right here at Portage Quarry with the 2006 First Annual Legends of Diving Festival! That reunion resulted in an invitation from Sam and Debbie to visit them in Bahia de los Angeles, Baja CA, MX. She spent the month of February with them enjoying them, their home, some side trips and life on the Sea of Cortez. Sherry is currently writing her memoirs of the Baja trip and her experiences with the Lecocqs.
